LEADERS

LEADER: Anastasia Dacamara
I was raised in a home that went to church once in a while, my parents were divorced. When I was Fourteen I gave my life to God at The Weekend. I soon after found the amazing comfort, love, and grace that God provides.
LEADER: Arthur Dorl
I grew up in a Christian home and became a Christian when I was four years old. Even though I gave my life to Christ it wasn't till my sophomore year in Summit (A Vertical ministry) that I really started trying to live for God, I have guys like Ray Del Toro and Mat Pirolo to thank for being such Godly leaders that year for me. Ever since than I have been living a life devoted to God.
LEADER: Bekah Lusko
I became a Christian when I was a sophomore. I attended Vertical and gave my life to the Lord.
LEADER: Cortney Lohkamp
I was raised in a Christian home, and I was saved when I was 5 at a "Psalty" the singing song book event. I didn't know what exactly being a Christian meant until later and finally at a middle school youth camp, I surrendered and rededicated my life. I was baptized on July 4,1999 at the beach waterpark with my family, and it was such a joy to share that with them! I am thankful Jesus has kept me (even in my failure)---He has given me joy and purpose, and He has control of my life!
LEADER: Cynthia Wolski
I've been saved by the grace of God coming up on 13 years now. There is no life without Christ. The Lord is my solid rock. He has blessed my life in countless ways. He is the reason I am well today and I want nothing more than to bring Him glory. I knew first hand how hard it was to be a christian in high school but the Lord was always faithful to me. I want to share the love He has shown me.
LEADER: Evan Martinez
Seasoned 33yr old.. I Love Jesus with all my heart. I understand that I have to deny myself daily and choose every moment to follow him, because the fight doesn't end till we meet Him. I want to share, encourage and teach these inspiring kids anything I can. It's just great to know, lead, and watch over them as the Lord God Almighty lifts them up for mighty things.. for His glory.

LEADER: Kelly Bransford
I was raised a "Christian" and attended church for many years with my family. Unfortunately, it didn't mean anything to me for a long time. In 2004 I officially surrendered my life to God and asked Jesus to come and be master of my life.
LEADER: Kirsi Gaulden
I was raised in a Christian home, and became a Christian when I was seven. I think I really started following Christ when I was a freshman and started going to Vertical. I rededicated my life when I was a sophomore, and since then God has made Himself more evident in my life every day.
LEADER: Klay Parker
I told Christ I needed Him in February '99 when I was 8. I started to become interested in actual church events in 8th grade. Went on "The Peak '04" retreat and that's when God started to really show Himself to me. The summer before my Junior year in high school I was baptized at the "Elevate '06" retreat in the San Diego ocean! [Needless to say, Vertical fueled my relationship with God by blessing me with great relationships with the leaders and other students]. I was living for God with my all until I hit a rocky period in my life after I graduated high school. Luckily, God loves his children and forgave me and pulled me back in using the friends I had made. 2012 will be a great year and I'm stoked to serve in this awesome ministry! I was made for this!
LEADER: Melissa Garcia
My name is Melissa. I have two sisters and one brother. My sister Alycia is married and lives in Paris, Texas. I have two amazing godly parents that I love dearly. I am a senior at Cibola high school. I am a Christian and I don't have a religion, but a relationship with God. He is the reason that I live and I am nothing without Him. I thank God for all the things He has done in my life. I have faith and trust in Him. After high school I want to be a missionary and work in a orphanage. It all depends on God and what His planes are for me. I don't want my planes, but His. He is in control.
LEADER: Michelle Bransford
I surrendered my life to the Lord in September of 2006. It wasn't until I had graduated high school and gone into college that I realized life wasn't about looking or acting "cool". I simply realized that my life without Jesus was pointless. From that point forward I strive to please Jesus and to truly be set apart from the ways of this world. I am SO happy that I am living to be like Jesus!

LEADER: Rachel Del Toro
I accepted Christ In middle school, but it took me a lot longer to fully grasp the concept. Although, ever since I have been trying my best to reach toward God. It has been a long and crazy journey, but I wake up every day ready to keep going, living, and growing!

LEADER: Sara Dunham
I didn't really start seeking out an intimate relationship with the Lord until I was about thirteen and I gave my life at that time. After God brought me to that saving knowledge, there was no turning back for me. He filled my heart with an indescribable joy and began molding my ugliness into something beautiful. Our God is the most faithful, most beautiful, and most wonderful Being that could every be!

LEADER: Taylor Bronisz
I came to Christ at the age of four, but my faith remained untested until I returned to public school. Almost immediately, I began living for myself; and slowly, I forgot about God.After three years of this, I hit rock bottom and became suicidal. But when I thought all was lost, Jesus gave me another chance; and it is by His grace alone that I am still alive! I rededicated my life in Vertical in 10th grade, and it was then that I fully surrendered to Christ. My life has never been the same!
